We chose the vineyard of Nothia, in the plain of Almopia with its clayey soils, for our white varieties. Malagouzia and Chardonnay are grown at an altitude of 630 meters. The vineyard of Notia was specifically chosen for the cultivation of white varieties only, and more specifically Malagouzia and Chardonnay. The wines are vinified in tanks, each variety separately at controlled temperatures. This allows them to express their aromas and flavors unhindered and to their fullest extent.
The profile
Kali Pediada is a cool white wine, rich in aroma and intensity, made from the winery’s two varieties grown in the vineyard at the highest altitude. On the one hand, Malagouzia with its floral, delicate character and notes of unripe apricot, and on the other, Chardonnay with its fruity expression of stone fruit and citrus notes, come together to offer us a wine that is the result of their harmonious coexistence. At the same time, the imprint of this particular terroir unfolds, with its minerality and the expression of the region’s cool climate and dynamism.
