Mavrotragano meets Xinomavro in this unique blend of north and south. Our most distinctive wine is a label whose creation was inspired by our family's aspirations. The cultivation of Mavrotragano was a unique endeavor for us, as it was the first time this variety had been planted in our region. Without any information about its cultivation in the area, we managed to obtain samples of exceptional quality grapes from the very first year. With a very low yield per acre, it offers a concentrated aroma, with phenolic concentration and maturity. Made from selected grapes from the best harvests, it is aged in the bottle for at least 12 months.
The identity
The deep, dense red color with violet highlights makes the wine’s character clear. Its complex aromatic profile consists of notes of red fruits, forest fruits, raspberry tart and white flowers, which unfold from the very first sip. Intense flavors of dark chocolate, black cherry, spices, sage, and concentrated fruit are present. A robust, balanced, and complex wine that offers a wonderfully rich, structured palate with impeccable length.
