Xinomavro - Syrah, 2018

The Xinomavro and Syrah varieties are cultivated in equal proportions in the vineyards of Neromyloi. The varieties are vinified separately and aged in oak barrels for approximately 12-16 months. The sandy-loam soil gives us the privilege of slow ripening to our grapes.

The Identity

Deep ruby red color. A dynamic blend of the two varieties gives a rich aromatic palette of notes of small red fruits, sage, sun-dried tomato, subtle hints of violet, and, when swirled, spicy notes of black pepper and vanilla. Attractive and fruity on the palate with sweet, ripe, and crisp tannins and a well-structured finish. Their differences highlight the greatness of their coexistence.
